In a charming little village surrounded by gentle hills and thick woods, there were two dogs living. Titan was a huge, strong mastiff with a bark that sounded like thunder across the landscape. Then there was Spark, a tiny terrier. He wasn’t big, but he had bright eyes full of unstoppable energy.
A chilly fall day brought trouble when a feared bear showed up near the village, causing problems at a farm and scaring everyone—people were worried about their pets and kids. First to step up was Titan, the big dog everybody thought would handle the situation with his strength.
But, shocking everyone, Titan chickened out. Even though he was large and powerful, he backed away scared with his tail tucked down. The bear kept on causing chaos since no one stopped him.
Then came Spark’s turn. Fearless and determined, he charged at the bear without hesitating. His barks were sharp and full of guts. He bit at the bear’s heels and zipped around so fast the bear couldn’t catch him. Spark’s gutsiness threw the bear off, who thought he had an easy win coming.
The showdown went on for quite some time until Spark’s bold moves made the bear decide it wasn’t worth the fuss. Grumbling one last time, the bear gave up and went back into the woods.
The people in the village burst into cheers, totally wowed by the little terrier’s guts. Spark showed everyone that true courage isn’t about how big you are but what’s in your heart. From then on, if ever someone judged by looks alone, folks would mention Spark – it’s not the size of the dog in the fight, it’s the fight in the dog that matters.. Spark’s brave story became well known, encouraging others far and beyond.
